From 7 pm to 10 pm, Mira “VinoGal” Vojinovic is hosting a gathering to try out the seven-course chef’s tasting menu at $75 per head. Celebrate Black History Month by learning how to cook soul food staples, thanks to Tuckahoe Village Trustee Omayra Andino, along with Tuckahoe residents Marilyn Graham and Stephanie Palmer on Wednesday, February 19 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the public library. Dishes include Mac and cheese, candied yams, and the crowd-favorite fried chicken. To celebrate National Maragrita Day on February 22, Sedona Taphouse in Mamaroneck is bringing back its signature margarita flight all day from Friday, February 21 through Sunday, February 23. Larchmont’s DeCicco & Sons is bringing back its BQE Series, which highlights the several breweries that have opened near the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway in recent years. On Friday, February 21 from 5 pm to 9 pm, sample three beers from Brooklyn’s Grimm Artisanal Ales and Queens’ Evil Twin Brewing NYC without having to worry about the lovely traffic. Diner Brew Co. is steadily hosting events at its New Rochelle taproom, and will partner with Smokehouse Tailgate Grill on Friday, February 21 from 7 pm to 10 pm to ensure a great start to the weekend. More beer on a Friday! On February 21 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, head over to Fin & Brew in Peekskill for the Beer vs. Wine Dinner. The restaurant is partnering with local business Dylan’s Wine Cellar to pair four beers and four wines with four courses. Patrons will then vote on which beverage paired best with each dish.

Yonkers Brewing Co. is celebrating five years on Saturday, February 22, and you’re invited! Starting at 12 pm, enjoy music all day while noshing on brunch, lunch or dinner from the brewery’s restaurant, while sipping on its award-winning beers. For more information, click here.

Event maestro Tricia Fraser will host a food crawl while aboard a trolley, taking patrons to more than 15 restaurants and historical sites within the city’s four square miles. Expect learning which famous names have called Mount Vernon home, while noshing on goodies from The Bayou, King’s Southern Delight, Jungle Restaurant, and more.
